Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills Queens New York. Before she finished her junior year, she relocated from Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. Dina Meyer has two brothers. Gregory is her older brother and Evan is her younger. At the age of 9 till 16, she started working in the entertainment business via modelling. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock received similar training, along with Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton and Diane Keaton are also among those actors who've received this type of training. Her first acting role came from Beverly Hills 90210. This required her moving out into Los Angeles. She was cast as the leading lady in Johnny Mnemonic in which she was able to perform almost every stunt her self, establishing herself as a skilled actress. The agency she was represented by was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent, she was able to land a regular role on Friends.
