Despacito was a track from the year 2017 released by Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi. It was the most streamed track worldwide within just 6 months. The song was a mix of pop and reggaeton which not only brought attention to Latin Music but as well reggaeton. Billboard's Top 100 in 2015 had two tracks that were mostly in the Spanish and the year 2016 featured four. Despacito's popularity Despacito reached its peak in the year the year 2017. In 2020, 41 mostly Spanish songs will be included in the Top 100. In the wake of Justin Bieber's dual remix of Despacito (2017) famous musicians soon started collaborating with reggaeton musicians, such as Drake along with Bad Bunny on MIA (2018) and Madonna with Maluma on Medellin (2019). In 2020, a few Reggaeton musicians were complaining about the trend of their genre to the mainstream. But a newer generation, such as Rauw Alejandro was keen to continue the evolution. The musician incorporated electronic dance music and others into his music.
